CAD Technician

 

Based in: Los Angeles, CA (one position)

Reports to:  CAD Department Manager

Type of Position:  Full time/ Exempt

Relocation: Not provided, candidate should be a current resident of the area.

For this position, we require successful applicants to have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or relevant discipline preferred.  Associates degree or diploma from technical school required.

• Proficiency in REVIT (BIM Experience)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD

• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. The type of construction industry drawings knowledge should include architectural and structural drawings, as well as various subcontractor drawings.

• Listening and problem-solving skills -- critical requirements

• Knowledge of storefronts, curtain walls and glazing – are a plus

• Working knowledge of Windows operations system and Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
